Hot Spots/Cold Spots in Your Home?
Updated: Oct 14, 2020
It's August here in Oklahoma City, and that means late summer heat. By now, you have some real world data on how your air conditioner performs in your home, and have become well acquainted with what your home feels like from room to room. And, most homes have hot or cold spots in their homes that become apparent when we are experiencing extreme heat in Oklahoma...or, as the locals say, a normal summer time.

Hot or cold spots in your home can be caused by several different things. If you have ductwork in the attic you may have a bad connection to the main line, or the duct may be crushed. You could have an area in your home where the attic is un-insulated (or under insulated). Your air conditioning system could ultimately be too small for the size of your home. That's just a few possibilities.
There are many different reasons why the temperature "feels" different from room to room in your home. Now is the time to take note of those places and see about getting them fixed. At Executive Heating & Air, we have been fixing hot and cold spots in Oklahoma City houses for years, and know where and what to look for to make it right. So, if you've noticed a room that is warmer than all the rest and would like to be comfortable in every room in your home, please give us a call at 405-253-2029. We would be happy to provide you with an executive level of service!
